How to join Indian Armed forces as an officer?

Are you a defence aspirant who wants to join Indian armed forces as an officer. 
This is the right spot you have landed on, in this article I'll share with you the various entries through which you can become an officer in armed forces.

There are various exams conducted by armed forces which is the first step to this journey.

By qualifying the above mentioned exams, you are called for an interview. Those who get selected in the interview as well, have to appear for the medical examination, which is conducted just after interview in some places or special dates are allotted depending on the entry in which you are appearing. Thereafter, a merit list is prepared based on the written and interview marks, a final merit list is announced. 

However, there are other entries as well that gives you a direct call for interview.

  • JAG (Judge Advocate General)
  • TGC (Technical Graduate Course)
  • SSC-Tech (Short Service Commission - Technical)
